The Fast-R 2 has a very unique ride that is full of bounce. It loves to go fast! The foam feels better than the Pebax competitors use. I recently ran 12x400m at 68 seconds pace in them and they felt fantastic! My legs feel really good after that work out because of the bouncy and protective foam. It has the best upper I've seen on a racer, it's supportive and light. The upper has not caused me any blisters or discomfort. Fits true to size. <br /><br />The ONLY downside is that it is one of the heaviest marathon racers I've worn. Despite the weight, this has become my favorite shoe to race in for the 10k and up. I wouldn't mind racing a 5k in this either, but I would want something nimbler. If Puma can get the weight down for the next version, I think it would be unbeatable.

I got a blister on my ankle in the first mile. Very sad about this. I have several first generation NITROS and have never had any problems with it. Very sad about this.
