Sizing Issues

I purchased a cloudspun polo 6 months ago and had to return the large because it was way to big. The medium fits but is still on the looser side. Since the M appeared to be my size, I bought this item in the M. It fit like a wetsuit. Inconsistent sizing across a brand is frustrating, especially when shopping online.
