Perfect for my workout at work bag! Towel, toiletries, change of clothes with a little room to spare. Backpack carry, shoulder carry, OR hand carry. Fits easily in a locker.
First of all, the "laptop pocket" is the entire width and depth of the bag. It could fit a 20" laptop, maybe larger. The shoulder straps disconnect from the lower straps via a buckle, and they both tuck into that large exterior pocket on the backside. It is well made, heavy duty zipper, seems water repellent material. I like it a lot, but I am large frame so it fits me. 30L is not a small sleek bag.
