FROM DORTMUND WITH ECHTE LIEBE
In 1966, BVB became the first ever German club to win a European title, and its fan base proceeded to grow. It currently stretches around the world and back again to Dortmund’s iconic ‘Yellow Wall’ in Signal Iduna Park. Their stadium is one of the largest – and loudest – in Germany and the eighth largest in Europe. Home games are packed with what’s considered to be some of the most loyal fans in football. The team’s recent run in the 2013 UEFA Champions League™ proved to be the sort of stuff that a city and team live for: hard-fought victories, an historic comeback, and a second-place finish in a season that will be forever remembered by fans.
